Delete your FishAtlas account

The public App Store version of FishAtlas is intended to include an in-app control that lets a signed-in user initiate deletion of their FishAtlas account from the Profile or Settings area.

What deletion covers

After appropriate verification, Streams to Summits LLC will delete or de-identify account-associated personal information that it is not legally required or otherwise permitted to retain. Some residual information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, security systems, or disaster-recovery systems until overwritten in the ordinary course.

Saved data

Account deletion is intended to remove cloud-synchronized FishAtlas account data associated with the account, subject to legal and technical retention requirements. Information stored only on a device may also be removed by deleting the app or clearing the relevant local content.

Apple subscriptions

Deleting a FishAtlas account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Active subscriptions must be managed through the user's Apple Account subscription settings.
